A TALE OF TWO PUMPKINS
THE JOURNEY OF A PUMPKIN
AS HE SEARCHES FOR A FRIEND
WHAT ADVENTURES DOES HE FACE
AND HOW DOES IT END…
Atop this lonely perch
I wait,
Searching for
my pumpkin mate
When Hark!
A sight that I adore,
One step...
Two steps...
Three steps...
FOUR!
Together at last
T’was no simple feat,
But alas my search
Is now complete
Hand in hand
We cuddle around,
Staring across
The Puget Sound
But no! Not everything
Is always so great,
Sadly we fight
And sometimes we hate
At times it may seem
That I’m stuck down below,
Can I at least be your friend
And never a foe?
The pain that I feel
When you treat me like crap,
The life that I live
At times a caged trap
But what could be done
To return us to glee?
Could this party of two…
Be a party of three?
A companion of sorts
Could get us over this hump,
All it really takes
Is one simple…
JUUUUUUUMMPPPPPP!
Clinging to the edge
All we need is some hope,
Together at last
This is pretty damn dope!
Two pumpkins & a horse
This love can’t be bought,
Let’s take our new friend
To our old special spot
The white powdered snow
The sights we adore,
Back atop this fine perch
And lonely no more
What adventures await
For this sure ain’t the end,
Two pumpkins and a horse,
On Camano Island.
